ANDOVER ICE DIVE DRILL FEBRUARY 2001

Here are a few pictures of a drill that took place on Andover lake in February of 2001.  The ice was over 12" thick and visibility was close to 5 feet.  Over 8 divers made evolutions.  The scenario was two ice fisherman went through the ice.  Circular patterns were performed and on victim was found rather quickly.  He was located in approximately 8 feet of water directly under the hole.  The other victim was not found until a bystander informed us he may have been wearing a lifejacket.  A search of the surface was initiated.  Divers found the second victim  approximately 20 feet away from the hole on the surface.  Here a a few pictures of the drill.
